"Those who don't know history are doomed to repeat it." *

I believe that life is a cycle of mistakes. Its either we repeat the same mistakes or
change. Anyone is capable of making mistakes but only a fool keeps making the same one. As
the famous saying goes “History repeats itself”, it will always repeat unless we do something
about it. That is why we should be thankful because history teaches us of things that went
wrong in the past in order for us to be guided and not make the same mistakes again. If we
neglect what the past had taught us, then the cycle will continue and history would be all for
nothing.

“History is like a bridge that connects the past with the present and pointing the road to the
future."

History serves as our guide to the future. Our modern civilization today exists because of
the past. Everything humanity has ever made today exists because of our history and
everything that we are still in the process of doing today will lead to our future. Because of our
history, we have all the tools we might possibly need to be able to build a better future. We can
use the lessons we learned from the past to be better individuals and for humanity to continue to
exist. Basically, the past, present, and future is inter-connected and one would cease to exist
without the other.
