The 6th mass extinction – Stop motion

Josef Sparrey

Outline of Production:
The stop motion production is to do with climate change and what could happen to the earth
if nothing is done to stop global warming in the next few decades.

For the stop motion, I’m going to use either plasticine or play dough to mold the shape of the
earth.

Order: 30 second stop motion

Start from 2019, earth spinning all blue and green. Earth starts to slow down as years keep
increasing, brown areas start being revealed. Years keep increasing going past 2000 and
2020, more areas around the globe start becoming brown, with less blue and green.
Until the years become 2100 – 2120 plus, where the world is nearly completely brown
representing how the earth could look, if global warming temperatures keep increasing.

The production targets the chosen audience by: (according to research and focus
groups)
This production is aimed at the younger generation and British youth. This is because many
younger people are taking part in climate change protest, however there are some groups of
people have taken their actions too far.

NB: Add images to your brief so it looks professions – make this creative – do NOT just write
on it.
