The authors would like to inform you that on p. 585 of their published article Eq. (16) was
incorrect. It will be rewritten as following:

Fig. 6. The average friction factor as function of Reynolds number for liquid sodium single-
phase flow in seven rod bundle channel.
Fig. 7. Comparison between the experimental data and the predicted value given by Eq. (16).
In addition, in Section 4.1, the statement “Meanwhile, the prediction accuracy of Blasius
correlation is significantly lower than the experimental data. The prediction of Cheng and
Todreas [1] correlation has the same trend with the experimental data but it is relatively lower.

This is mainly due to the fact that the value of w/d is smaller than that of p/d, and the
hexagonal tube leads to the relatively higher friction factor. The fact could also be confirmed
by Rehme.” will be rewritten as below.
Meanwhile, the prediction accuracy of Blasius correlation is significantly higher than the
experimental data. The prediction of Cheng and Todreas [1], [2] correlation, which predicts
turbulent boundary at Re = 13,800 and turbulent constant (f * Re0.18) of 0.138, is in good
agreement with the experimental data. This also indirectly confirms to validity of the
experimental data measurement.
The reason causing the above correction is that, in the processing of pressure drop data, the
pressure drop caused by the height difference in the pipette is mistakenly added, which leads
to the large pressure drop data.
I would like to thank Prof. Chen for his careful discovery of the problems and guidance for
further improvement. The authors would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused.
