Ques - How IoT can be helpful in Global warming, explain with suitable
example.

Ans – As we can see nowadays, temperature is rising and the last year
was the warmest year till now globally in the world. Global temperature
is rising day by day due to climate change and in the coming years
greenhouse gas emission can be reduced to 40 to 70 percent. If we do
not control our climate change then it will be really difficult for us to
live in this planet. But we have Internet of Things which can help us
reduce it. There are more than 60 billion Internet of things devices and
the number continue to grow. Following are the ways IOT will combat
climate change :-

(a)Agriculture –> By using IOT and its devices we can transmit data in
agriculture activities and will surely make advance techniques in
agriculture that limits the use of pesticides, fertilizer and water.
IOT devices will also increase the reliability of weather forecasting
so that farmers will know about the weather before so they can
user there resources accordingly and efficiently thus IOT helping
in agriculture.

(b) Traffic –> IOT apps can help reduce carbon dioxide emissions
from cars by helping drivers by finding parking spaces more
quickly and avoid congested roads to reduce the amount of time
they spend driving. There Iot apps help the traffic to move more
 easily and make not cars to stand on one place and can reduce
dangerous gases that can harm not only harm our environment
but also dangerous for us.

(c)Energy storage and building automation --> IOT-enabled devices

can be programmed by and intelligent energy storage so they can
only work when it is necessary and will remain off until there is no
need of them. Such devices can be used for our daily lives such as
a light bulb it seems small but can save a whole lot of energy
when there is no one around then this device will turn it off and
save a lot of energy and also can give alert when there is a
maintenance issue to reduce cost and waste.

There are many examples of how IOT can be helpful in our daily
basis and can save the world by can change the climate which
result in a healthy environment and also lower global
temperature to safe, and acceptable levels. Its really important
that we do this because the future is in our hands
