○ Done in completion of my practicum hours through the University of Lynchburg
○ Created programs to implement more marketing strategies and resources.

○ Observed patient’s Biopsychosocial and Suicide Risk assessments to be able to determine
the severity of the patient’s presenting symptoms/underlying problems.
○ Observed out-patient small group sessions at Pathways Lodge to better understand the
communication and interaction between the patients and staff.
● Student Researcher, University of Lynchburg (Lynchburg, Virginia, 2019).
○ Researched mental health within student-athletes at the collegiate level to determine
factors contributing to the vulnerability of the population.
○ Assessed the needs of student-athletes, set goals and objectives, and developed tools for
healthy coping strategies and mental health education to ensure student-athletes are
provided with the proper resources.
● Gerontology Patient Assistant, McGurk House (Lynchburg, VA, 2017).
○ Visited a 74 year-old woman once a week to plan and discuss health, personal, and social
factors.
○ Collaborated with the woman to create objectives and goals throughout a 3 month span.
