“Who Am I and Why Am I Here?”

My name is Maddie Marsh and I am here because I want to learn about the importance and need for philanthropy and where I
want to leave my legacy.
My Values, Vision, Issues, Impact
I value faith, justice, and equality. The vision that I have is equality so that everyone, everywhere can lead a life of dignity and
opportunity. There is so much brokenness in the world especially in areas such as gender equality, youth employment, quality
education, access to health services and much more. I want to take action, and impact these areas of life to fight the cycle of
poverty.
How I Will Spend My Time, Talent, Treasure and Trust
I will spend my time studying the history and current states of different countries and failed states. With my education I will use my
skills in areas where I can improve people's quality of life and teach people about the importance of having a global perspective. I
plan on not only spending lots of my time and future doing this but also giving my money to help organizations that support
ending extreme poverty globally.

I believe that people, no matter where they live or what situation they were born into, deserve an equal chance at living a quality
life.

It is your duty to be financially and philanthropically responsible so you can give back to the world, leaving it a better place
that you found it.
My Desires for My Philanthropic Legacy
I hope to one day give back to ll the people and organizations that have helped me throughout my life. I also want my children
to see what it means to give with open hands and not be greedy.
