Basilica Minore de Santuario de San Pedro Bautista

The oldest church and reputedly the holiest ground in Quezon City because its
founder, San Pedro Bautista lived on this place. The Church was founded in 1590.
The area was given to San Pedro Bautista by Governor General Santiago de Vera
as a place for retreat, prayer and contemplation. The parish was erected on
November 12, 1932. It was elevated into an Archdiocesan Shrine on February 25,
2001 and as a Minor Basilica on June 13, 2020. This is the second minor basilica in
the Diocese of Cubao and in Quezon City.
