NEW DELHI-110 002 F.No. 82-32/2020 (SA-II1) Date: 09.09.2020 INVITATION OF ONLINE APPLICATIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS UGC invites fresh applications (including renewals) from regular and full time students under the following four schemes for the Academic Year 2020-2021 1. | Indira Gandhi PG Scholarship for Single Girl Child (SGC) 2. | PG Scholarship for University Rank Holder candidate (URH) Ishan Uday Special scheme for North Eastern Region (NER) PG Scholarship for Professional Courses for SC/ST candidates (PGSPROF) The guidelines of each scheme may be accessed at ‘National Scholarship Portal’ The students who are eligible and are admitted in the recognised institutions, as per the guidelines, may submit their applications through National Scholarship Portal on its website - https://scholarships.gov.in/ The Portal will be open for receiving applications for Fresh’ as well as ‘Renewals’ as per the following timelines: Closing date for filing online applications by ‘30% October, 2020 students Closing date for Verification of applications by 15% November, 2020 | Institutions of students including re- submission of defective applications The students are advised to submit their online applications well in time so that their institutions are able to verify applications within the prescribed timelines. ‘The eligible Institutions are also advised to verify applications of their students immediately after receiving the applications on Portal.
