Using the outline in Task 1, find and select an excerpt from reliable scholarly sources (books and journals only, printed or electronic) to support each of the supporting points. Submit the excerpts for approval. Develop the outline from Task 1 in the forms provided. The developed outline should contain: 1. thesis statement and supporting sentences 2. elaborated supporting points 3. paraphrased and/or summarised excerpts as supporting details using APA in- text citation style 4. additional sentences to create coherence and cohesion 5. reference list Submit the hardcopy of the following documents in Week 10: 1. WEEK TASK
Week 4 - 5 • Based on Task 1, students look for excerpts from
reliable scholarly sources as supporting details for each of the supporting points. • Students submit the articles with the highlighted excerpts and a copy of WRITING FORM 1 (FINAL) for approval. Week 6 - 7 • Students paraphrase the selected excerpts from the approved articles in WRITING FORM 2 (DRAFT). • Students received feedback on paraphrasing in class and complete their REFLECTION FORM 2. Week 8 - 9 • Students summarise the selected excerpts from the approved articles in WRITING FORM 2 (DRAFT). • Students received feedback on summarising in class and complete their REFLECTION FORM 2. • Based on the feedback and reflection sessions, students complete WRITING FORM 2 (FINAL).
Week 10 Students submit the following documents:
