“A Gift to Our Church”

1527 North 42nd Street East St. Louis, IL 62204

Dear Participants, Family and Friends,

It is with pleasure that Sharon Brown, captain, and Tracy Hall, co captain, and the entire St Mark Church
Family would like to thank all participants for their outstanding support and for making this St Mark
Annual Family and Friends Program a spiritual and financial success. Special recognition for our co-
labors in the Lord for this year’s Program:

Mozella Brooks  Santrail Burns

Pamela Howard  Tannie Morrison

It was such an honor to serve with my brothers and sisters in Christ and our prayer is The LORD bless
thee, and keep thee:
25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
Numbers 6:24

May God’s Blessings be with you

Sincerely
Rev Kenneth Johnson Pastor

“The Church that’s large enough to love you, yet small enough not to lose you.”

John 4:23 (KJV)

23  But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in
truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

John 4:23 is a passage of scripture that really talks to my spirit.  To think that Almighty God does not
force, but searches for those willing hearts that will liberate themselves in worship, not with lip service
but in spirit and truth.  On Sunday February 21, the true and living God manifested Himself as we
assembled here at St. Mark for our Annual Family and Friends Program.  It is with a profound sense of
gratitude that I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all of the Team Captains, Co-Captains, visiting
Churches, and the entire St. Mark Church Family for being a part of such a spirit filled fellowship.

God Bless You!

For this is the way to pray each and every day.”

AEL Concrete Soul is the first installment of Taylor’s intimate tale of a
complicated journey from adolescence to womanhood and self-awareness. In
Taylor’s search for what she believes unconditional love and acceptance should
be, she finds more than what the poor brown-skinned girl from West Lincoln
Street could have ever imagined.
