Program level. The Major Milestone Schedule is used to quickly depict via graphical representation
the overall Program schedule time-line.

Level 1 Project Summary Schedule:

The Level 1 schedule will show the entire project formatted on a time scaled calendar at a summary
level inclusive of the Major Milestones. The level 1 schedule is intended to communicate the entire
plan in one schedule. The level 1 schedule is the building block for all subsequent schedule levels and
will remain as a roll up of the detail schedule levels throughout the project lifecycle. Level 1 schedule
shall depict status based on progress reported at the lower level schedules once the schedule has
matured to a Level 2 or greater.

Level 2 Project Phase Summary Schedule:

The Level 2 schedule will represent an additional breakdown of the Level 1 schedule activities
depicting the timeline and status for the various phases of work (Engineering, Procurement,
Construction, Start-up and Closeout) and be maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
The level 2 schedule shall depict status based on progress reported at the lower level schedules once
the schedule has matured to a Level 3.

Level 3 Detail Schedule:

Level 3 schedules will be a further breakdown/detailing of the Level 2 schedule. It will show the
detail plans to accomplish Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Start-up and Closeout work. It
can be utilized by the project to review, plan, analyze, and control the project. Such schedules will
have logical relationships integrated between Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Start-up and
Closeout and be organized in such a manner to facilitate critical path analysis and variance analysis
reporting.

The Level 3 schedule can be used for discrete activity progressing by the assigned responsible
organization/department and shall be able to roll up to Level 2 and Level 1 Schedules.
