Who is Donald Trump?

Donald Trump was born on June 14, 1946 in Queens, New York.

His father was a wealthy builder and real estate developer. His mother was known for being a philanthropist
who did a lot of work for charity. Donald Trump was the fourth of five children.

When he was thirteen, Donald Trump's parents sent him to the New York Military Academy. There, he became
a popular student and was also a member of many sports teams. After graduating from high school, Donald
Trump decided to follow in his father's footsteps. He studied economics at Fordham University and the Wharton
School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. When he graduated from college, Donald Trump joined the
family business.

During his early career, Donald Trump was involved with building and remodeling many buildings in New
York City. He became a successful businessman. His best-known project was Trump Tower, a 58-story building
in New York City. Trump Tower was full of high-end shops and celebrity residents. Since building Trump
Tower, Trump has built hotels and casinos all around the world.

In 1977, Donald Trump married Ivana Trump. They had three children: Donald Jr., Eric, and Ivanka. In 1992,
he divorced Ivana Trump. In 1993, Donald Trump married Marla Maples. They had a daughter named Tiffany.
In 1999, Donald Trump divorced Marla Maples. In 2005, he married Melania Trump. They had a son named
Barron.

Aside from real estate dealings, Donald Trump has been involved in many different activities. In 1996, he
purchased the Miss Universe Organization and hosted the Miss Universe pageants. In 2003, he developed a deal
with NBC to create a show called "The Apprentice" and its spinoff "The Celebrity Apprentice." The shown
earned a primetime Emmy nomination and Donald Trump was also given a star on the Walk of Fame.

In 2016, Donald Trump became the Republican nominee for President against Hillary Clinton. After a
controversial campaign, he won the election and became President-Elect Trump.
