Companies have had a strong impact at the macroeconomic level, affecting many

companies, generating uncertainty, unemployment and the closure of many of them.

On the negative side, commcerce has been greatly affected, and as we all know, the sectors
with the greatest impact are tourism and live entertainment. However, not everythin is lost,
on the positive side there are companies that have had to reinvent themselves in order to get
ahead. In fact, many have achieved this by adapting to the situation through teleworking,
digital technological options and even the construction sector taking biosecurity measures
to avoid dropping construction sites.

It's clear that due to the crisis, companies haven't been able to continue managing the same
strategies. So, in the current international context, they have had to be more innovative
(such as Crepes & Waffles, which created its own fleet of women to make home delivery),
more strategic (such as Call Centers, that have adapted to teleworking), and more cautious
(such as Exito or supermarkets that use the necessary biosecurity measures). Likewise,
companies have had to make decisions that may not be beneficial for many workers,
unfortunately many have had to fire hundreds of workers, which is why the unemployment
rate is so high, and other companies have also made the effort to not fire ant of them,
however, many of these companies have been forced to resort to loans and financial aid.

Finally, i want to highlight something that seems really important, and it's the fact of the
most vulnerable companies, such as Pymes and Micropymes. The governments of many
countries have made aid available, for example here in Colombia, offering guarantees to
obtain loans and other aid for personnel expenses, fixed costs and other obligations of these
companies.
