1. Cite three scenes in the film where a group of people had come to an agreement.
Briefly describe what the agreement was and the purpose of the agreement. (5 pts)
 1st scene – When Ms. Melinda was about to tell a story to her students and
suddenly one of her students came in with ice candy. She told them she will
pay for it and give it to them as long as they will pay attention and answer
some question after the story.
 2nd scene – Popoy and Obet had only one school uniform which they cannot
use at the same time while having a rehearsal. In that, Ms. Melinda told their
Mother that it won’t be a problem as long as she will agree to let her children
join the choir.
2. Cite three scenes in the film where a group of people had come to an agreement.
Briefly describe what the disagreement/conflict was and the purpose of the
disagreement/conflict. (5 pts)
 1st scene – It was when Ms. Melinda found out about the books that was
hidden by the school Principal instead of giving it to the students. Ms. Melinda
urged Mrs. Pantalan, the School Principal, to let the students use the books
for their own benefit, but Mrs. Pantalan forbids it.
 2nd scene – It all starts because of the choir competition when most of the
parents do not agree with it because it will take the time of their children. The
purpose of the competition is to showcase the talents of the students and
make their parents proud that their hard work and perseverance are paid off.
 3rd scene – Mrs. Pantalan didn’t agree to Ms. Melinda to join the in to the choir
competition because she doesn’t want to create a conflict between the
teachers and parents by joining the competition.
3. Recall the difficulties Ms. Melinda went through organizing the choir for the
competition. How did she resolve the conflicting ideas coming from the School
Principal and parents?
 Ms. Melinda’s difficulties in organizing a choir is never been easy because of
the unwillingness of the parents to let their children to join the choir because
they were not be able to help them in the fields. But because of her
determination, she decided to talk personally to the parents of her students
and tell them to manage the time of the students so they can still help their
parents in their chores. At first, she was not able to convince them but then
she was shocked to see a group of students waiting for her for their rehearsal.
