DEFINITION: The CTD system will not ARM or DISARM properly.

Theft Deterrent? Go to Step 2 Theft Deterrent

1. Open the driver's window.


2. Unlock the doors using the power door
lock switch or the keyless entry
transmitter.
2 3. Remove the keys from the ignition.
4. Open the driver's door.
5. Observe the courtesy lamps.
Go to Courtesy Lamps
Do the courtesy lamps illuminate? Go to Step 3 Inoperative in Lighting Systems

1. Open the driver's window.


2. Unlock the doors using the power door
lock switch or the keyless entry
transmitter.
3 3. Remove the keys from the ignition.
4. Open the driver's door.
5. Observe the SECURITY telltale.
Go to Security Indicator
Does the SECURITY telltale flash? Go to Step 4 Inoperative

1. Lock the vehicle using the power door


lock switches or the keyless entry
transmitter.
