(January 26 – February 1, 2020) 2019-nCoV acute respiratory disease, Australia Epidemiology Report 1 (January 26 – February 1, 2020) • The first ever confirmed case of COVID-19 in Australia was on January 25, 2020. • The patient came from Wuhan and flew to Melbourne on January 19 • According to the first report of epidemiology in Australia, dated January 25 to February 1. 2020, there were twelve confirmed cases of 2019-nCOV infection. • All the twelve confirmed cases reported in Australia had travel history to China, and 11 of them had a travel history to Wuhan, China. • The median age of cases was 45 (range 21–66) years. • Zero casualties were reported on the first week of the epidemiology report.
