Project # 2: Industry Trend

According to an article by Samuel Totham (2019), entitled “Top 10 Business Trends
That Will Impact Growth Through 2022”, that was also based from a former article by World
Economic Forum (2018), entitled “The Future of Jobs Report 2018”, there are ten business
trends that are currently and will be continue to grow and be a trend in the business industry.
These ten trends will help aspiring individuals to think like entrepreneurs. It will also be able to
help them have the correct mindset and right attitude before entering the demanding industry.
First tip is to acknowledge the increasing adoption of new technology and the
advancement of mobile internet. We can’t deny the fact that technology now takes a big part in
advancing and developing our lives towards a better future. It offers new opportunities that
people from before did not even got to imagine. It makes life easier and light to manage since
today, due to the service offered by the mobile internet, it is as if, the world is in our hands and
everything is just one click away. Next, is the increasing availability of big data. These data do
not only help the business and entrepreneurs in storing and keeping track of information, it also
helps in studying and analyzing past events for future reference or management. Besides that, we
also now experience advancement in artificial intelligence (AI). AI helps the people in different
industry di their jobs leisurely, especially in the business. It increases efficiency, improve
productivity and better performance in manufacturing, technology, healthcare and other
industries. Advancement in Cloud Computing is also acknowledged. Due to its outstanding
online services, it opened opportunities to consumers to be more involved in the process. It made
the industry more agile and efficient to serve its target market. Shifts in national growth also
became a trend. The demand of businesses nowadays greatly benefited the nation growth in
economy. Next, expansion of affluence in developing economies have also been predicted. Of
course, with the demand of businesses, money will continue to grow in affected areas, and so as
their economies. Then due to the advancement in technology, expansion of education will rise to
offer opportunities to aspiring entrepreneurs. And with the growth of technology, advances in
new energy supplies & technologies will then take place, as it opens to innovations and
discoveries. And lastly, expansion of middle – class will happen. If people learn how to put up
and run their businesses, many will have answers to their financial problems.
In conclusion, as the year 2019 enters and ends, further education with the advancement
of technology will occur, opening bigger opportunities to many people who dreams of becoming
an entrepreneur someday.
