Introduction: Choosing the relevant related accounting topic

Objectives:
1. To find the best quality relevant research paper topic in accounting with the guidance of
expert helpers

Content:

The first step when planning and writing a research paper is picking a good topic. A good topic is
relevant and has enough information available.

A research topic is a subject or issue that a researcher is interested in when conducting research.
A well-defined research topic is the starting point of every successful research project. Choosing
a topic is an ongoing process by which researchers explore, define and refine their ideas.

Writing a research paper on accounting needs certain innovative and simple accounting research
paper topics. But due to the lack of ideas and relevant topics for writing a research paper, students
have to go through huge turmoil.

Reviewing what others have written on your topic is a fundamental step in any research, and it
serves a number of purposes:

- Identifying what has already been done and has contributed significantly to your topic;
- Identifying what still needs to be done in order to justify the originality and importance
of your research;
- Establishing links between your research and the most relevant research on the topic
(by comparing your study to previous research, you can point out similarities and
contradictions);
- Identifying relevant theories, research designs, approaches and methods used in the
study of similar research problems that can be appropriate for your study.
The literature review needs to be the first to consider because without it, you cannot prove the
originality and appropriateness of your study. However, one thing is reviewing for a research and
must be brief and contain only the most relevant references, especially the most updated ones.

This is the rule of a research paper that you aren’t supposed to write something that is covered
already by someone else. But here are some important accounting research paper topics ideas that
are suggested by the reliable experts:

1. Forensic Accounting Topic – explain the role of a forensic accountant to save a business
organization from heavy loss.
2. Accounting Research Topic in Auditing – describe the use of software that is used in
auditing accounting by companies in the present time.
3. Management Accounting – role of management accounting in the employee appraisals
and increments.
4. Taxation – why is it important to keep the taxation accounting software in business
companies.
5. Financial Accounting – what types of decisions could be taken with the help of financial
accounting in a business firm.

The title should be informative and specific to the study, and should contain key elements that
advertise the paper’s contents. Choosing a good title and subtitle is fundamental for a paper’s
success, as they are the first elements to catch the attention of readers, and they tell them what
the paper is all about. This first contact with the topic of the paper determines if the paper falls
within the scope of the journal or the readers’ interests, and it is decisive in their immediate
decision to dedicate some time to exploring and reading it. Through the title and subtitle, it is also
possible to deduce what type of paper it is and whether its topic is attractive to a broad audience.

Titles should address the content of the paper and be short, simple, easy to understand and
attractive to the paper’s audience. It is important that titles contain some strong keywords
dealing with the content of the papers, to ensure that the titles are detected by fellow researchers.
