Eve goes through a transformation over the course of the film from a woman living under a corrupt society to a stronger person. At the beginning, she was shaped by her traumatic childhood where her parents were taken by the government. V also had trauma from the government, which helped him understand Eve and strengthen her by subjecting her to his experiences. By the end, Eve sees V as a father figure who helped her mature and see through societal masks to true values.

In my opinion, Eve is a very complex character that
evolves throughout the film, and I think that we can
make an interesting parallel between Eve at the beginning of the film and Eve after meeting V.
Her journey is incredible when we think that at the
beginning, she was the classic woman model, living in a corrupt society, led by people who have no moral principles and would do anything to achieve their goals. The trauma she had in her childhood helped her a lot because, it opened her eyes and made her realize what a miserable world she lives in. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger." When she was still young, the government took her parents, and she was forced to attend some horror scenes. She crawled under the bed, but could not abstain and when she saw her mother in those awful situations, Eve cried out in fear.
V also had a trauma due to the government, which
helped him to understand Eve better. He was an important factor in her development because he understood how to make Eve stronger. He subjected Eve to all the horrible things he suffered.
The film ends with a conclusion that Eve points out.
She says that V was her father and mother; her brother and her friend; he was you and me; he was all of us. She refers to the fact that V represented for her a power that she usually finds only in very close persons. Eve understands that she has matured because of him and that although they did not know each other very well, they managed to see the true values behind some apparent masks.
