1. Part 43 of the FAR defines the different classes of maintenance for the porpeller system and
the mínimum requierements for 100-hour and anual inspection

3. An aircraft which uses a fixed-pitch propeller Will not opérate at máximum RPM (tachometer
redline) on the ground in a no-wind condition when the engine is producing máximum
allowable horse power.

a green arc to indicate the normal operating range, yellow arc for takeoff and precautionary

matter from affecting the feathering oil supply (FAR 23/25 1153)

approve major repairs and alterations to porpellers and related parts and applicances for
return to service

specifications: a change to the Blade or hub desing, a change in the governor or control
desing; instalation of a governor or feathering system .

10. The repair and overhaul must be performed in connection with the opertation of a
certificated repair station, comercial operator, or air Carrier (FAR 65.103)
