So, we are at a point where justice and competitiveness of players and teams are put to the limit.
On the one hand we have benefits, such as those mentioned by Dr. Andy Miah to make athletes
perform better. On the other hand, Hammond explains the danger this can represent for sports.
Gene therapy is a reality to which sports will have to adapt, which is why it is necessary to think of
a way in which everyone can be in the same condition when it comes to competing and have the
same possibilities of access. We must wait to see how much this modifies the field of sport and
think how we can adapt to the new normality that the courts will have.
