to the weekend, when we rent out close to 100 bikes. Overall, I think it was a productive day even though
it was slow at times.

On June 19th, I was working at the beach rentals. It was not busy in mornings, however, it picked up in the
afternoon.

On June 20th, I was working at the cottage pool in the morning and in the afternoon, I was at the bike

On June 21, I was working at the lodge pool in the morning. When I arrived at the pool in the morning, I
saw that a baby bird fell out of its nest. After making a few calls, I was able to reach someone at the Birds
of Prey show to come help me save this little guy. After working at the pool in the morning, I went down
to the beach rentals because they needed help and we were short staffed. In the evening, we had a SFA

grass skirts and coconut bras and have them parade into the circus tent in front of their families. They
were completely embarrassed. I then became the M.C. and announced and joked around with the fathers.
Then with the help of Shannon we were able to do a dance off with all of the fathers. We had some really
good dancers and it was really hard to pick a winner.

On June 22, we had an SFA event in the morning at the Lodge & Spa. Another intern and I went to the

give them suggestions on what to do during the day. After this event, I took a small group of the SFA
families on a hike. This was a lot of fun because there was only 3 of them who joined me, and I was able
to talk to them and interact with them. I was even able to explain the idea of Forest Bathing, which is a

afternoon, we had some rainstorms that affected us having beach Olympics, so we came up with a backup
plan and had a bingo night at the lodge.

up to the event, even people who were not part of the SFA week asked me questions. After this event, we
had a morning kayaks event for the SFA families, where they had a whole hour on the lake. We had a ton
of people show up to this event and this caused us to run out of kayaks. After the morning kayaks, I held a
beach scavenger hunt and I had three kids show up this activity. I thought this was a lot of fun because I
saw them running around the beach area trying to find the objects and take pictures with them. After they
found everything, they came back to me and showed me some really funny photos. In the afternoon, we
had some arts and crafts. We were decorating wine glasses and beer mugs. We had a lot of people show
up for this event, so it went really well.

On June 23rd, I had a golf cart accident while retrieving supplies from an empty building. I did not call
the director immediately after the accident and completed my assigned task first by delivering the
requested supplies.
I didn't respond properly or immediately, and my internship was terminated.
I absolutely loved working at Callaway. I am proud of the work I did there and believe I provided
positive experiences for the guests. I am currently searching for another internship to complete my
required number of hours.

3. Positive learning experiences occurring during the reporting period.

A positive learning experience that I had during this time was that lying never gets you anywhere in life
and it can hurt you in your career. I wish that I acted differently and responded to the situation better. This
is a huge learning experience for me because it has caused me to loss a job that I loved and the issues of

places till I can secure a new job and maybe stay at the summer dorm on campus. It has been really eye-
opening for me.

4. Progress toward Internship Project
