Sound Sensation is the possibility for the artist to deeply
connect with the audience by expanding the way we sense music. It is a multi-sensorial experience in which the audience is triggered by stimuli that simultaneously activates the five senses, as well as proprioception, thermoception, kinesthesia, etc. These stimuli, even if not strictly interconnected, portray the same concept that the artwork wants to convey. The spectator is therefore fully immersed into an emotional environment that holds a subtle boundary amidst reality and fabrication. This acts as a safe place to explore our own reactions to the inner and the external world. Through a thoughtful appreciation of the emotions experienced, Sound Sensation will be the starting point of a better understanding of the self, and the influence of our emotional intelligence into the choices we make. The installation uses 360° VR Videos, 360° music with binaural panning (through headphones), combination of taste, scents and touch stimuli.
