New Era of Modernization

I am now facing a new world, a new era of modernization. The world has change yet the

blood of our ancestors still run through our veins. They say that today’s youth is our hope, our

hope for a change. I have understood their important rule in life and the uniqueness of this

generation. However, as one of today’s youth I can say that I have forgotten the true value of

skills and knowledge. I’ve started to observe and I ask, Nowadays what do kids do ? Gone with

the days where we play outdoor games like “luksong baka” ,“patentero” and “tumbang preso”.

Unfortunately we got eaten up by the system of technology we sit all day facing our iPods,,

cellphones, xbox and computers. We lost our senses and stay all night to update your status, to

watch kdram, we always greet each other with a “good morning” but now all I can hear is

“annyeonghaseyo”. Yes! A new era of modernization is born Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and

Tumblr this is a generation where apps or his applications and social media is a must. What a

waste of talented young Filipinos technology is slowly changing us.
