On behalf of the Politeknik Kesehatan Semarang (POLKESMAR) as the host, please allow me to
extend our warm welcome to all the participants of the International Radiology Webinar “The
Development Of Artificial Intelligence In Radiology And The Importance Of Mental Health During
Pandemic Era ”. This event is a collaboration of JTRR Poltekkes Semarang Indonesia with
Perhimpunan Radiografer Indonesia (PARI).

Polkesmar is the institution that remain the ambitious of our goal to reach our campus to be an
internationally recognized health education institution in 2025. Our achievement of the outstanding
of research qualities, teaching, training and the expertise of our staff
in the various fields of health sciences. The departments in Polkesmar are nursing, midwifery,
nutrition, radiodiagnostic and radiotherapy, dental health, medical informatics, medical laboratory
and environmental health. We have education level from 3 years Diploma until Master of Applied
Science in Health. Our study programs have been recognized at National levels, this allowing us to
become one of the leading health education Institution in Indonesia.

This is the first webinar collaboration with PARI during the pandemic Covid-19 situation. It’s a good
topic to share the knowledge and experiences among experts, practitioners, professionals in the
topic of artificial intelligence in radiology.

The participants were students and radiographers from Indonesia, with the two speakers from
Thailand.

It is expected, the contents of the webinar will enrich the knowledge in artificial intelligence
application for radiographer and students. And also, we could learn about how to manage the stress,
in this pandemic situation.
We would like to extend our appreciation to Jurusan TRR as the committee of the webinar, and PARI
who have been working with our Institution to make today’s event possible. More importantly, to all
speakers who willing to share their knowledge and expertise.
