From Grade 7, I was introduced to one of the most theoretical and

lengthy subject of Economics. Economics is study of demand,
production needs as well as indepth behavioral patterns of
consumers and suppliers.

Economics was an optional subject in my high secondary school. It

was the substitute of statistics. I hate practical and calculative
subjects and hence I opted economics in my grade 7 to 12.

Economics has been my favorite among all the other subjects. I was
very fascinated how I am implementing the principles of economics
in my daily life. Basically, it is a very important subject because it
helps me to understand many human interactions like production and
sale of goods and services.

It is also a dynamic and interesting subject that has expanded my

understanding of the world as well as my reasoning and problem
solving abilities.

Moreover, economics is closely connected with vital subjects like

sociology, politics, business studies, mathematics, psychology and
history. Hence by studing economics I have brushed up my other
skills as well.

All in all it is the jack of all subjects. An economist today is more

respected than a scientist. It is a subject for everyone. One can
become a smart businessman if he/she can predict economical
changes.
