lowmeters at Depending upon the various sizes of the Electro-magnetic flowmeters that we produce, their calibrations setups are as follows, MMR Rig, : Using Comparison method with our Master meters for meter sizes from DN 10 to DN 150. Tower 2: Using Volumetric method for sizes from DN 200 — DN 450. Tower |: Using Volumetric method for sizes from DN 500 ~ DN 2000. Initial setup ; Test meter is mounted on the respective rigs and connection of its output is done with the system. After full bore condition, zero setting is done for the test meter. The frequency output of the test meter is fed to the system. Comparison method : (Using MMR Rig for sizes DN 10 to DN 150) When calibration command is given, the desired flow is set and the system starts accumulating pulses (frequency) from master meter and test meter for a specific Period of time, When this time is over both the pulses are compared and the % Error is found out by the system, Volumetric method : (Using Towers for sizes above DN 150) On both Towers level switches are placed at various heights. Volume of water between two level switches, one above other, is calibrated periodically and entered in system as ‘Reference volume’. When calibration command is given, the desired flow is set and the system starts accumulating pulses (frequency) from the test meter. It measures the pulses between the two set level switches and converts them into volume. The known ‘Reference volume’ between the 2 level switches is then compared to the calculated volume from the test meter and the % Error is found out by system: This error should be less that % Error Limit (% EL) according to model in use, Using the above respective methods 3 readings are taken at 3 set points (30%, 60% and 90%) of the Full scale and certified, *End of document*
