Expectations

We will…

 Treat others the way we want to be treated

 Always do our best

 Be prompt and prepared

Consequences

1. Non-verbal: Turn my body and eye contact towards the student until they notice all my

attention is on them.

2. Verbal: Have a one-on-one conversation once the class has started doing work to avoid

bringing attention to the student.

3. Give them an "if - then" statement depending on what exactly they are doing to be disruptive.

For example, if you want to keep talking, then you can move seats.

If the student continues to defy and not follow instructions after I have given multiple warnings,

depending on the severeness of the actions displayed by the student, I can handle this in various

ways.

The school district has a strict procedure of handing out a referral for serious violations. The

referral will be given to administration, who will then call the student into the office and explain

the violation. From there they take the student and the evidence into consideration and then

continue with the most appropriate consequence.
