Executive Summary

company grow, all whilst leveraging its proprietary technology. While Ocado offers an end-to-

end operating solution for the online grocery retail sector, it is also suitable for operating its own

retail business. It has built a winning model that attracts leading grocery chains – all while

building on a cost efficient and successful strategy. This report will present Ocado Group’s

profile, examine its international strategy, explore its marketing approach, identify its logistics

and state their Human Resources Management (HRM) approach. After weighing the benefits and

risks of the company, I can confidently recommend allowing Ocado Group to setup operations

within the country. Ocado’s well established procedures and company’s track record of

successful partnerships sets it up for short, as well as long-term, success.
