Machine Vision system is a technology that used to capture, process and analyze the image of an object

in able to identify its features. Through camera, the image of an object was captured and turn into a
digital information. Machine vision software was used to analyze the digital information and make a
decision based on the standard given. There are 2 types of vision system: first, the one that process 2D
images only; and the other one is process 2D and 3D images. Machine visions system has also benefits:
first, it improved quality; second, it increased productivity; and lastly, it improved production tracking.
Machine vision systems consists of three components: camera, lightning system and software. There are
also machine vision application types: measurement, counting, location, decoding and automation.
Before using a machine vision system, it must be set up properly and checked to confirm that it works
correctly.
