There are a lot of great songs that our native land has made.

There are a lot of singers and

composers that we admire but only one had captured my attention and made me listen to her
song all over again. That song was composed and sang by Lea Salonga it was entitled "The
Journey". Lea Salonga was one of our Filipino prides because of her good virtuoso and
compositions. The song maybe old but still every time I listen I hear it; it can make me realize
so many aspects. I choose this song because of its message and meaning that can expand your
mind. Another reason for choosing this song is that I like how Lea sang it with emotions and it
was very pleasing to the ears.

As I analyzed the song I learned that it was all about struggles and hope. Many of us had
encountered our series of ups and down. We face the world in different ways and perspective.
Well as we all know problems and struggles is a normal part of our existence. So to dig deeper
about the song, it tells us how our journey goes. Throughout the journey we may trip and fall
but still we believe in hope that will light up our way and uplift our body and soul. We can never
get lost because there are the stars that will guide us. Maybe Lea Salonga the singer and
composer of the song wants us to see life in a positive way, to go forward and left the problems
behind.
