Classroom Management

Student Expectations:
 We will appreciate one another
as unique individuals
 We will respect each other and
not make fund of anyone when
they make a mistake
 We will use good manners and think of others first
 We will encourage one another
 We will help each other when we can
 We will do the best we can do!

Discipline Policy: We will approach with love and logic

 Teacher will give verbal warning and remind the
student expectations
 Teacher will meet with the student and problem solve
 Team of teachers will again meet with student and
address some concerns
 If the situation needs parental involvement, the
parent(s) will be notified by note sent home, email,
and/or phone call
 Teacher/student/parent conference will be scheduled
 Office referral will be put into place if needed
 For students who need more direction, a success plan
will be put into place

Communication
 There will be a remind app (or other communication
app the school district prefers) available that I
encourage all parents to sign up for to help parents
and students keep up with assignments and events
happening in our class! (There will be an email sent
out in addition, so please be sure I have your best
email address so you can stay in the loop)
 If a parent needs to contact me, email will be the
most efficient method. We can communicate via
 email, set up a phone call for during my conference
time, or schedule an in-person meeting.
