Concept of Society

Society means Social Relationship, Social Network

Characteristics of Society

- Objectives
- Sustainability
- Diversity
- Social Values

Example: Students Society, Muslim Society


It can be said that the fundamental aim of the state is to
recognize through the democratic process. It is a society in
which the rule of law, fundamental human rights and
freedom, equality and justice, political, economic and
social, will be secured for all citizen.

Relation between Society and State

Society State
- Role of social relationship - Instrument to serve the purpose

- Historically and Logically prior - Comes out a certain stage of human


development
- No particular territory - Definite Territory

- Natural to Human being - Man live without State (Refugees, Stranded


Pakistanis, Rohinga)
- Its organization acts variety - Single purpose : Law & Order

- May not be highly organised - Always organized

- Does not use compulsion - Use the method of coercion

State is not co-extensive with society

Within society State exists for a particular
