The Relevance of History

History itself is very essential for us to learn since it has the answers to all our questions
regarding the past. By knowing our history, we can understand our present and by that, we can also
conclude our future.

            With many claims around the nation about our history, sometimes we’re not sure which
are true and which fiction are. We should have the right sources to check every angle of our
information. Before we believe about the assertions concerning our past, we should always asses
its primary sources- in which it has the elements that are closest to the origin of the information.
To identify the interpretation, analysis, and further research of the information, secondary
sources can be the key.
            Historical features should have to undergo criticisms mainly internal and external.
Internal criticism is important so that we can identify how credible the data are. External
criticism on the other hand is when we check the authenticity of the source to verify whether it's
biased or not.    These processes are significant because through these progressions, we can
discover the original meaning of the original historical environment.
