What do your group think or will do to reduce the high migration to the big cities, site your

reasons and defend it.


1. High migration from rural areas and small towns to the big cities can be reduced by
providing basic facilities such as medical, educational, water and electricity, and
resources for livelihood.
2. Provide job opportunities. Encouraging investors to invest in rural areas will likely to
create an employment.
3. The government should provide good schools, daycares, hospitals, transportation
services, places for entertainment, shopping malls, and amenities.
4. With the latest technologies and products, workers such as plumbers,
electricians, masons, healthcare providers, beauty services providers, security guards will
have a motivation to work and stay updated.
5. The government should provide people with better equipped houses to make their lives
more convenient as they do not have to walk long distance.
6. Shops must have more supply and variety of products so people won’t have to go to
urban cities just to buy their needs.
7. Provide entertainment for people. There must be available cinemas in order for people to
watch their favorite movies or films and they would be updated about the trend.
8. The government should set up banking facilities in small towns.
9. The government should construct concrete road channels.
10. People in rural areas should be educated and updated about the computers, e-books, and
internet so they can also use social medias.
11. Create an ecosystem where production and consumption are balanced out to reduce
migration.
12. Train and mentor people will different skill for shifting to non-farm livelihood.
13. Parents and elders should educate their children the difference between rural and urban
livelihood, including the challenges and the realities of living in urban areas and the
negative things that can affect them.
