Abstract
Research on the use of spectral decomposition and rms aplitude seismic attributes on Penobscot
basin field data, Canada using well data and 3D seismic data. well data used are well data B-40
and L-31 which are connected with the composite function. The software used is Petrel 2008.1.
the target zone in this study is located in the Lower Dawson Canyon formation. Processing data
horizon selection which is then continued to make a structure map that is a time domain structure
structure and depth domain structure. It was concluded that the zone was found to be obtained at
a depth of 2000-3000 feet. Then the attribute analysis is performed using the seismic rms
amplitude attribute to get a value between 0.4-1 meters. After that the spectral decomposition
attribute is performed using frequencies 10, 25, 50, and 75 Hz to get the spectral cross section
with color blending analysis later.
