Ray Angelini, Inc.

Hires General Counsel

SEWELL, NJ (September 7, 2010)—Ray Angelini, Inc. (RAI), commercial solar

provider, electrical and general constructor, and power systems testing firm,
recently announced an addition to its executive team: James J. Merkins, Jr. as
general counsel.

“Our company’s growth in the last couple of years warrants adding the new position
to my staff to help us go to the next level,” said Ray Angelini, President, RAI. “Jim
is an exceptional professional for this crucial role in our organization. His
experience and dedication will be invaluable assets to our continued success.”

Merkins comes to the corporate law position at RAI after nearly a decade in private
practice with Blank Rome LLP, Philadelphia, PA and Wilmington, DE and most
recently with Bouchard Margules & Friedlander, P.A., Wilmington, DE. Prior, Jim
worked as a law clerk for The Honorable Myron T. Steele, Chief Justice, Supreme
Court of Delaware.

Merkins received his law degree from Widener University School of Law,
Wilmington, DE. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, with minors in
Political Science and Middle Eastern Studies, from Pennsylvania State University,
University Park, PA.

Merkins lives in Springfield, PA with his wife and their two children. He is active in
his community as a board member for the township’s planning commission and as a
coach for the youth athletic club.
Founded in 1974 by Raymond J. Angelini of Woodbury, NJ, as an electrical
contracting company, RAI serves commercial clients in NJ, PA, DE and MD. In
2004, RAI formed a solar division and has since completed numerous projects, both
large and small, throughout the region.

“RAI has installed more solar capacity than any other firm in the State of NJ,” said
Sean Angelini, RAI Solar Division Manager. “Most notable being the Atlantic City
Convention Center—the largest single-roof power array installation in the country at
the time of completion in December 2008.”

The company also recently completed work with the Government Services
Administration (GSA) on site at the Veteran’s Administration Center, Philadelphia,
PA, to provide a new Energy Star-rated roof and solar array, a project that was the
direct result of GSA’s commitment to green design and construction and the
agency’s American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

Also recently completed was the largest privately installed solar array in Gloucester
County, NJ at the headquarters of glass manufacturer J.E. Berkowitz LP,
Pedricktown, NJ.

RAI was recognized as one of the region’s 2009 Best Places to Work sponsored by
Philadelphia Business Journal. To learn more about Ray Angelini, Inc., visit
