3-sentence reaction to Ford’s Sampling Strategy


Including dealers in the revised sampling strategy has provided Ford essential
information that are beneficial to financial and marketing decisions. This action by Ford’s James
Farley has emphasized the importance of statistics in running a business and how it affects
economic decisions that each one has to make. With such, Ford was able to identify errors and
mistakes in their marketing plans likewise, they were then able to further improve their branding
proving the contributions of statistics even in the corporate world.
