After responding to peers, reviewing the feedback I received, and re-reading the requirements

for the 5 Insight Statements & Responses, I now see that I set up my first assignment incorrectly

and that’s the biggest thing I am going to address for the revisions for this assignment.

Lesson Two Design Challenge Question: With the lack of resources there are for children on

the spectrum, what would you do to change this?

Key Themes from Servant Leadership: Running this advocacy as a group with my supporters

next to me will continue to show that I care, and I am passionate about what I am advocating for.

I will not run this advocacy, instead I will guide us onto a path that will provide beneficial

outcomes for children and their families.

Persuasion: By having individuals being directly affected and speaking out about their own

experiences, it will continue to encourage others to join our cause. The individuals who join may

not even be affected by this, but they know it’s a great cause and will speak up for those who

cannot.

Commitment to the Growth of People: I will continue to listen to what the individuals being

directly affected by the lack of resources has to say to better my advocacy. By doing so, I will

put fourth their voices so that we can be heard, resulting in resources and support for both

children and their families, who are on the spectrum.

My Own Themes: Seeing how children on the spectrum are suffering academically because of

the lack of resources and support breaks my heart, which fuels my passion for this advocacy.

Support: Having the support of those who are affected makes this advocacy that much more

meaningful. With out voices combined we gain more support and we will have a beneficial

outcome(s) for the children, and their families on the spectrum.
