ASSIGNMENT 1 IN AUDIT THEORY

1) Tell me about yourself.

I was born on March 15, 2000 at Brgy. Evelio B. Javier, Hamtic, Antique or also known as Lanag.
Nothing to boast about myself but proud to say that I did not came from a wealthy family but a daughter
of very kind and hardworking parents. Too sad to face trauma at the early age; been not accepted by
my biological father as her daughter, maybe because he gave his all to his first daughter who died at the
early age. As a daughter to my parents and as a student, I can say I’m giving my all. When it comes to
stuffs, I like the color blue. I like vegetables more than meats and fish. I love ice cream. I love and
appreciate simple things and I’m not a typical girl who go with the trend. I love and appreciate the
beauty of nature. I envy those families with a strong family ties wherein everyone is like a family I once
dream to have. Just like the others out there, I am not really a sociable person, I want to be alone rather
than surrounded by people, as what they call introvert - Yes - except when I’m with my friends or the
one I feel comfortable. I hate loud noise, and crowd places. I would prefer to stay at home than go
outside. In school, doing requirements alone feels so much better than having someone unless it is
required as a team. I am well responsible for the things and decision I made.

2) Why do you want to become a CPA?

CPA? What is it? I don’t really have a background about what is CPA like. As I graduated Senior
High School I do not know what course should I take, I have a lot of choices but hesitant to which one
should I take. Since our teacher is also our parent and advisor/councilor, I was influence by my teachers
to take this course – BSAccountancy - I took BS Accountancy without any knowledge of what it is look
like. I did take bridging class since I took a different strand in my Senior High. Along the way, I realize
that I like the course and decided to pursue it. I prayed to the Lord that if it is for me, then he will make
me pass the exam to be an Accountancy student, if not then I won’t pass. Once I started the course,
level by level, I find it getting difficult but the point here is I may not totally fond and love the course I
take, I will make sure to become a CPA. The reason is that the Lord lead me here so I will do my best to
become one someday. Also, I want to show to myself that I can be a CPA. I may not fully understand
until now what a CPA may truly mean but in the future I will.
