Gal Icons represented the Lourdes College Basic Education Department at

the first ever CDO International Danztrack Competition held at the Capitol University
Gymnasium last August 24, 2019. Many of the students coming from other schools went
to the event to witness and support the presenters. The gymnasium was filled with
excitement and joy as they witness the glorious performances of each schools. After the
overall dance presentation, it was followed by intermission number. Sadly, the Gal Icons
was not able to obtain any award from the competition but the school did not fail to
recognize their efforts even though they did not get any recognitions from it because
Lourdes College knew that the students did their best to represent the school and they
were also proud because this was the very first time that the school engaged to this
competition. Although, there were also many schools who didn't achieve to get any
places but they never lost their hopes to smile and accept the result.
