[BLANK High School] is well known for their outstanding students and high success ratings. I
am impressed by your students’ and faculty’s work ethic and schoolwide support. This reflects
the type of school I am looking to be teaching at because I would fit right in. Please consider my
qualifications for the high school English teaching position at [BLANK High School].

[BLANK High School] needs a teacher that can get the students excited to learn about English in
order for them to flourish. I will be able to thoroughly engage the students in the curriculum by
considering their likes and dislikes in literature and applying that as much as possible in the
classroom. [BLANK High School] will undoubtedly benefit from students who enjoy English as
it is a subject with skills that apply to all other subjects.

[BLANK High School] will also benefit from someone who can lead students inside and outside
of the classroom. I have the necessary skills to do this as I was the President of the Northern
State University Honors Program which allowed me to put my leadership skills to practice. I
successfully presided over many meetings as well as organized and executed social events.

I believe I have the skills that will complement [BLANK High School] and aid in future
