Strategy: Question-Answer Relationship (QAR)

This strategy requires that after students read the material or after a lecture, they will
work in small groups to write questions in the three categories about the material just presented
(Right There, Think and Search, and On Your Own type question). This is normally done in the
classroom and after which the students would share their questions with other groups and
answer the questions the other groups gave. Evaluating the question for their quality and
effectiveness..

Now to integrate this strategy into the 21st century classroom. My idea to integrate this
strategy is bye having students create quiz note cards using https://quizlet.com/. After a
lecture/reading of the start of WWI (that the students will have read or watched online) they will
work with a partner or alone to create a quizlet.

Here is an example of what the students would create, https://quizlet.com/_91tewg?

After which the students will share their quizlet with other students and answer the
questions of the other students. They will then give feedback through the last notecard in the
quizlet.
