Another way to add contrast is by highlighting the relevance of a fact or opinion
in the context of your research. These academic words help to introduce a sentence
or paragraph that contains a very meaningful point in your essay.

Giving examples
A good piece of academic writing will always include examples. Illustrating your
essay with examples will make your arguments stronger. Most of the time, examples
are a way to clarify an explanation; they usually offer an image that the reader
can recognise. The most common way to introduce an illustration is “for example.”
However, in order not to repeat yourself here are a few other options.
