The given scenario is about a skilled doctor that is needed to make a very vital
decision for the sake of the patients. If I were to be the doctor, I'll choose letter B, which
says, save the patient even though the other patients won’t get organs. As a doctor i
would save the patient. It is my duty as a doctor to save lives. Having the scenario that I
have a medicine to save the 6th,I will administer it to him/her for the reason that
everyone has a right to live. Moreover, it would be wrong to leave him to die to save the
others. The medicine will not completely heal the 6th patient instead just delay the
death. And if his/her death happens, that's the time where I’ll give his/her organs to the
other patients. Besides his/her death will go towards the other 5 patients' great goods.
Hence, in reality as a doctor you will ask for patient 6th options, if there is any and
technically speaking, there will be a lot of tests to overcome issues of organ
compatibility.
