I would check the teaching pattern as project manager, that as a student what similar bugs they are
making

What are the individual bugs

Who is conducting the interview for hiring them

What has been taught while teaching them

Which slides they are following

Risk involve : off course when they are producing the wrong out puts its wasting the universities time

And money

More over the work gets effected

It would be better to collect a sample of at least 14/15 task or just hire them for a week for test purpose

More over check their resources that from where they are learning these wrong things

I would conduct the professional learning session too in order to make them better

I could change the working language too , will get them code on that language on which they have
command
