1. 연혁
1952년에 설립되어 호남권 중심대학으로서 광주에 메인 캠퍼스를 두고
있으며, 우수한 연구와 교육을 통해 한국과 지역사회의 유수한 인재를 양성하고 있다. 전
남대학교는 다양한 전공의 학위과정을 제공하는 종합대학으로서 17개 단과대학, 11개의
대학원에 약 31,800명의 학생들이 재학 중이며 (외국인 유학생 약 1,900명 포함) 1,170여
명의 교수진들이 대학발전을 선도하고 있다.

2. 입학 전형
1) 지원서 접수 일정: 국립국제교육원 일정에 따름
2) 지원 자격
가. 지원자 및 부모 모두 외국국적을 가진 외국인
나. 2021년 2월 28일 기준 한국의 초ㆍ중등교육에 상응하는 교육과정 졸업(예정)
다. 한국에서의 장기간 유학이 가능할 정도로 심신이 건강한 자
라. 전(全)학년 성적 평균 평점(G.P.A)이 B이상(3.0/4.0만점), 혹은 백점 만점으로 환산
할 경우 80% 이상인 자 또는 이와 동등이상의 성적이 있다고 인정되는 자

가. 전형 순서: 지원서 접수>서류 점검>모집단위별 심사>합격자 발표
나. 심사 기준: 언어 능력50%, 수학능력 심사50%
※ 심사는 모집단위별 서류전형으로 이루어지며, 면접고사를 실시할 수 있음.
※ 수학능력 심사 결과 60% 미만 취득자는 불합격 처리됨.
4) 유의 사항
가. 서류 원본을 제출하여야 하며, 한국어나 영어로 작성되지 않은 서류는 한국어 또는
영어 번역본을 첨부하여 제출.
나. 서류미비, 기재상의 착오 및 누락, 연락처가 불분명한 경우 대학이 책임지지 않음
다. 제출한 서류는 반환하지 않으며, 필요한 자료를 추가로 요청할 수 있음.
라. 학과에 따라 졸업 전까지 한국어 4급 이상 취득, 컴퓨터 자격증, 공인영어성적
등 졸업 요건을 충족하여야 함.

1. History
Founded in 1952, CNU has remained committed to fostering global leaders and
professionals as one of Korea’s most innovative universities with a reputation for

※ Academic ability screening is done by examining by the recruitment unit, and

2) International Student Support Program

A. The Office of International Affairs will provide an overall support for
international students from admission to graduation, including: student life,
immigration services, future career opportunities, and more.
B. Participation of international student related events and Korean
cultural/traditional events hosted by CNU and the local community
