Meeting Date: September 3, 2020

Call to Order:
A regular meeting of the Course ENGL 4021 M06 of the University of Puerto Rico at Ponce was held
remotely via Google Met conference on September 3, 2020. The meeting convened at 10:30, Professor
LeCompte presiding and Melianne Rivera, secretary. All students attended except: Yreisa L. Febles.

Approval of Minutes:
No prior minutes were approved because there were no secretaries in the last meeting.

Matters Discussed:
1. Professor LeCompte gave to the class two minutes of free writing about “if you were to inhabit
the world of any video or computer game, which one would you select?”

2. Professor LeCompte explained how use the technical writing with each characteristic.

3. Professor LeCompte reiterated the technical to use in one instruction:

a. Title
b. Introduction sentence (1 or 2 sentences)
c. Numberosteps
d. Diagram with labels
e. Warning
4. The professor explained:
a. The difference between a Venn Diagram and an outline.
b. Graphics Organizer characteristics
5. LeCompte explained the assignment which consisted of convert the mousetrap’s Venn Diagram
in an Outline and read chapter 1-2.

Adjournment: The meeting adjourned at 11:34 am.
