My girlfriend inspires me in many ways. She is the inspiration behind a melody that

I heard in a Joe Satriani song, and I realized how simple it actually was.
Part of my lessons include encouraging students to utilize technique and the things
they learn and put them into an original song. For me, this was a natural song to
come from
such a process. It is simple, the same way I feel about her. We are uncomplicated,
and
It is not a difficult piece, yet I wanted a beautiful melody for it,
and the marriage of the teaching lesson and songwriting exercise results in
one of my favorite compositions. I'm very pleased to present :
