STATE IN YOUR OWN WORDS WHAT ARE ETHICS, LAW, BIOETHICS AND
HEALTH CARE ETHICS MEAN TO YOU

Ethics

Base from what I have learned in our Ethics subject last school year, ethics is a moral
philosophy; it is a system of moral principles, it’s concept is judging whether that thing is
right or wrong, moral or immoral. But Ethics aren’t always moral and vice versa, Ethics a set
of rules for people to follow. Moral behavior can also be unethical for example if a lawyer
who advises the court that his client is guilty may be a moral obligation to see justice done,
but this is unethical because it violates the right of the attorney of the client.

Law

We all knew what is law, law is the set of rules which a specific nation or society
accepts as governing the actions of its members and which may be implemented by the
application of penalties and sanctions.

Bioethics

Bioethics is a study of ethical issues resulting from developments and advancement in

biology and medicine. It is therefore a matter of moral discernment when it applies to medical
policy and practice. Bioethics deals with ethical problems arising from the relationship
between life sciences, biotechnology, medicine and medical ethics, politics, law, theology
and philosophy.[
